後悔の表現 - should have, could have, would have
SHOULD, COULD, WOULD, +HAVE +過去分詞
I should have studied last night.
You should have called me last night.
I could have studied last night.
You could have called me.
I would have studied last night.
You would have called me.
I should have studied last night.
I did not study. I made a mistake.
You should have called me last night.
You did not call me. You made a mistake.
I could have studied last night.
I had a chance to study. I missed an opportunity.
You could have called me.
You had a chance to call me. You missed an opportunity.
I would have studied last night.
I did not study because of a particular condition.
You would have called me.
You did not call me because of a particular condition.
Be Supposed to
The game is supposed to begin at 10:00.
I am supposed to meet him today.
= I am required to meet him today.
"I'm supposed to meet him at 10 o'clock tomorrow."
I was supposed to call him last night (but did not).
I had to call him last time. ("and I did" OR "but I did not")
