if やfor exampleって結構使いますよね。条件や例の言い方もいろいろありますよ。
条件節
IF 節の他に、条件を表す節については副詞節：条件にて詳しく説明していますので、ここでは復習を兼ねて軽く触れます。
AND やOR は接続詞で、命令文 + AND/OR + 文 の形をとります。AND 文は「そうすれば」という帰結、OR は「そうしないと」という意味になります。
If you eat breakfast, you won't get hungry during class.
You should eat break fast, and you won't get hungry during class.
If you don't eat breakfast, you'll get hungry during class.
You should eat breakfast, or (else) you'll get hungry during class.
IF 節やUNLESS 節は副詞節。 OTHERWISE は接続副詞ですから、セミコロンやピリオドで区切ります。

例えば
FOR EXAMPLE やFOR INSTANCE は文章、語句ともに取ることができます。 語句の場合挿入句として使えますが、文をまるごと例として挙げる場合は、ピリオドやセミコロンで区切ります。
