仮定法の復習
仮定法のニュアンスと作り方解りましたか？
Would の使い方·ニュアンスが理解の鍵です。
日常英会話ではいちいちif-節を言わず、"would (have)"表現の方が断然多いです。
I would never have passed the exam without your help.
= If you hadn't helped me, I would have never passed the exam.
I would have studied last night, but I fell asleep.
= If I hadn't fallen asleep, I would have studied last night.
また、if-節と主節の時制が合わない事はよく起こります。杓子定規に、仮定法は、仮定法過去は…なんて公式を覚える必要はありません。
If I had studied English in high school, I would not have problems with English now.
= Truth: I did not studied when I was in high school. (past)
I have problems with English now. (present)
If I were not a good student, I would have failed the exam yesterday.
= Truth: I am a good student. (present)
I did not failed the exam yesterday. (past)
